Paula Patton is an actress and producer well-known for her leading roles in the action movie Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the drama film Precious. While growing up in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, Patton had many goals. The mother of her children was a film fan and encouraged her to love films as a child. Paula took part in school co-curricular activities and was especially interested in drama. She loved being in stage shows along with her peers. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the scene of many school plays. She made the decision to train as an actor. The summer was a blast at the University of Southern California. She was awarded a three-month project making documentaries for PBS. Following the successful completion of the task, she began working as an assistant in the production of TV documentaries. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. But she still had a desire to work as an actress although she was content with her current position. Her career began in acting when she appeared as Will Smith's co-star for the love story Hitch. Since then she's appeared in numerous movies and shows.
