Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer, and singer. An attractive and intelligent actress, she's an inspiration for many Asian actors who wish to become famous in Hollywood. Following a string of appearances on popular television series and movies, she gained fame when she was cast in the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. Following her success, she landed important part on the shows Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). She delivered a stunning performance in the role of Japanese O-Ren, a gangster from Japan (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. Around the same time she was also in the lead role in a few box office failures such as Rise: Blood Hunter. Later, she became a voice actress in animated films, including Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's character in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen film, failed to produce results. Southland is a highly praised crime drama - helped establish her as a leading actress. Liu has a lot of care when selecting her roles, so she doesn't get typecast. Though she has embraced the roots of her family, she hasn't let it limit her as an artist.
