Sheryl underwood is a stand-up comedian as well as a host on television and actor from the United States of America. She's best known for her role as The Talk's co-host on the daytime. Born in Arkansas She was raised at Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from a troubled family. Sheryl spent most of her childhood helping her younger sister Frankie with polio. When she was a kid, her relationship with mother was rocky. Sheryl says that her mother was once brutally stabbed by her father over getting too close. Sheryl enlisted in the military following her graduation from college. Her passion for the military was comedy. She became the very first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. In 1992, she made her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as host of the T.V. program Oh Drama! In 2011, she's a cohost of the Talk Show. Also, she appears in fictional roles in shows like Bulworth, Nikki or Beauty Shop.
